Seller Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: 1 April 2025

These Seller Terms and Conditions govern your relationship with TryCart, operated by PEAKRISE ENTERPRISES PRIVATE LIMITED, and set forth the rules and responsibilities that sellers must adhere to while using the TryCart platform. By registering and listing products as a seller, you agree to these terms.


1. Eligibility to Sell

To sell on TryCart, you must:

  • Be an authorized business entity registered in India.
  • Possess valid documentation including PAN, GST, and bank account details.
  • Be able to fulfill orders promptly and maintain product quality.

2. Product Listings

  • Sellers may only list fashion-related products (apparel, accessories, footwear, etc.).
  • All listings must include accurate titles, descriptions, pricing, and images.
  • Misleading listings or counterfeit products are strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension.

3. Order Fulfillment

  • Sellers must process and dispatch orders within the stipulated time frame.
  • Inventory levels must be updated to avoid cancellations due to stockouts.
  • Delays or failure to fulfill orders may result in penalties or temporary suspension.

4. Pricing and Offers

  • Sellers are responsible for setting the prices of their products, inclusive of applicable taxes.
  • Participation in TryCart sales or discounts is optional, but if opted in, must be honored.
  • Predatory pricing or manipulation to undercut marketplace standards is not allowed.

5. Commission and Fees

  • TryCart charges a commission on every successful sale, deducted before payment.
  • Additional charges such as logistics, handling, or promotional fees may apply.
  • All fee structures are transparently available in the Seller Dashboard.

6. Returns and Refunds

  • Sellers are obligated to honor TryCart’s Return Policy.
  • Returned items must be inspected promptly; if found to be in sellable condition, sellers will bear logistics charges.
  • Refunds issued to customers may be adjusted from future seller payouts.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Sellers are strictly prohibited from:

  • Selling counterfeit, stolen, or restricted items.
  • Attempting to contact customers directly outside of TryCart.
  • Engaging in fraudulent activities such as fake listings or inflating reviews.

8. Account Termination

TryCart reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate a seller account under the following circumstances:

  • Repeated order cancellations, quality issues, or policy violations.
  • Fraudulent or illegal business practices.
  • Non-compliance with documentation or tax requirements.

9. Compliance and Legal Obligations

  • Sellers must comply with all applicable laws including GST regulations, labeling requirements, and consumer protection laws.
  • TryCart may request updated documentation at any time to maintain seller account validity.

10. Limitation of Liability

TryCart is a marketplace platform and does not assume responsibility for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from seller conduct or third-party logistics issues. Sellers agree to indemnify TryCart from any such claims.


11. Modifications to Terms

These terms may be updated periodically. Sellers will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
